Flourish: Unleashing You

A few weeks back, I decided to take my newborn to a nearby lake I love. There, as we sat by the water, I observed the plants and trees -- watching nature soothes me. All was as it should be until I spotted a tree shedding its bark. This was my first time encountering a tree that sheds its bark. In my usual preachy manner, I gleamed a lesson from that tree (preachers can make a sermon out of anything; like literally, anything).

You do not need a new location to enter a new season.

Right where you are, you can choose to shed anything that no longer serves God's assignment for you and flourish. Your core can remain the same, and everyone around you can be the same, yet the expression of who you are and your gifts can take on new shape and form.

So flourish, sis.

Choose what feels like light, and distance yourself from

what does not.
