New Podcast Series: Forgive, Reconcile, or Release?A Heart-to-Heart from Issata O.

A teacup with purple liquid and lavender sprig on vintage writing. Text strips read "FORGIVE THEM EVEN IF THEY ARE NOT SORRY."
Forgive them, even if they are not sorry.

Can I sit with you for a moment? I mean, really sit with you—no title, no to-do list, no performance. Just woman to woman. Heart to heart?

Lately, I’ve been reflecting on just how many of us carry wounds that were never given space to heal. We were told to "be the bigger person," to “move on,” to “just forgive”—but no one taught us how. And more importantly, no one taught us that God never called us to carry broken relationships on our backs just to appear holy.

I’ve been there.

I’ve forgiven without apology.

Reconciled when there was no real change.

Stayed when God was clearly calling me to walk away.

That’s why I created this new podcast series on The EZ Breezy Life—because we need to talk about what forgiveness really looks like. What reconciliation really requires. And when it’s okay—even necessary—to forgive and move on.

Here’s what you’ll learn in this 4-part series:

Week 1: What Is Forgiveness?

We unpack what biblical forgiveness really means—and debunk the myths that have kept us stuck in bitterness or false peace. | Listen

Week 2: What Is Reconciliation?

We explore the difference between forgiveness and reconciliation using the stories of Joseph, Paul and Mark, and Jesus Himself. Reconciliation requires mutual change, and it's not always possible.  | Listen

Week 3: What God Wants for Us

Spoiler alert: He doesn’t want you to tolerate dysfunction in the name of “peace.” We talk about emotional safety, boundaries, and the abundant life Jesus promised in John 10:10.  | Listen

Week 4: When to Forgive and Move On

Discernment is key. Using Scripture and a practical “Fruit Test,” I’ll guide you through the signs it’s time to release someone for good—and do it without guilt.  | Listen

This series is for you if:

  • You’ve felt pressure to reconcile before the wound was acknowledged

  • You’re struggling with guilt over setting boundaries

  • You want peace, but not at the cost of your mental or spiritual health

  • You’re ready to do the healing work—but with God’s wisdom, not just good intentions

Here’s what listeners are saying:

"This was the episode I didn’t know I needed. I’ve been holding on to someone God told me to release. Thank you for the freedom."

"You explained what I’ve been feeling for years but couldn’t put into words. The way you teach with Scripture and real life? Game-changer."

You can listen to all four episodes now on Spotify, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you stream.

Start with Episode 1: What Is Forgiveness?

And if it blesses you, share it with a friend. Healing multiplies when we do it in community.

No more pretending. No more performing. This is the season of healing, wisdom, and walking in God's peace—not people-pleasing.

With love, clarity, and truth,
